Cleary Baptist Church Music

The scriptures are full of words of praise and worship. Psalm 146:1-2 says, "Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live." It is our responsibility and our great privilege to worship the Lord through song. At Cleary, God's people are given the opportunity each week to lift up the holy name of the Lord in Spirit-led worship. Our Sunday and Wednesday services consist of music of varying styles. All music used in our worship is selected through prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Our Worship Choir sings regularly for the Sunday morning service. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 8:30 in the Worship Center. The Worship Choir also presents concerts and musicals each year. If you have a desire to sing praises with others, regardless of music ability, you are invited to be a part of the Worship Choir.

This fall, we will begin using Praise Teams in our Sunday evening worship. The Praise Teams will also lead worship in other services from time to time. Praise Team members must be active in the Worship Choir.

JAM, our Children's Praise Choir meets on Sunday afternoons at 4:45. The Children's Choir is for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. They sing in the Sunday evening services several times a year.
